Music

Ipswich East State School offers an extensive music program, both in the classroom and at an extra-curricular level.

Classroom Music

The classroom music program has a child-centred focus on creativity and collaborative music making. Students have access to a vast range of musical resources and instruments and learn to use these, along with their own voices and bodies to improvise, compose and perform.
Children in Prep to Year 6 receive music lessons from a music specialist.
